@HelpFixDecoApp That's awesome you heard back and got a confirmation so fast. Thanks for keeping me in the loop! I want to update... but with kids, you never want to be the villain who caused anything lol.

If your not using a Samsug phone you are fine - Works with Samsung tablets so far just not phones which is very weird

@HelpFixDecoApp Unfortunately I do have 1 Samsung device in the house. 😣 Strange they were affected since they are so commonplace.

Here is an update from today.
"As for the progress on a new version of your XE75 Pro beta, from what I've heard, an updated build may be available sometime this week. As soon as we are given the word of its availability and a download link, we'll be sure to share it with you."
I did confirm it "will" also be posted on the forums as well

I have update to the beta and what I have noticed is:
1. Samsung phones do not work at all (wife's ad daughter's)
2. Some other devices: pS5, my wife`s laptop only work when connected to the IoT network that is 2.4 GHz. If I only leave 2,4 GHz (everything except the Samsungs) seem to be working
3. All IoT devices are working OK
4. My GOogle Pixel and my Poco Pad work flawlessly
5. All wired devices are working OK (wireless backhaul also seems to be working OK)
I hope that the announced new firmware release (beta or official?) does not take very long, or this is going to cause me a divorce (just kidding, but no so much)
If I configure the Deco in AP mode (not router) is the problem going to be solved?

@shakeador I'm experiencing the phone issue for a Samsung Galaxy A17 5G. Our other devices don't have these issues (i.e., Pixel, OnePlus, flagship Samsung Galaxy devices). I'm in AP mode.

Has anyone tried restoring factory status? Is the problem still happening?

I sent Ryan an email yesterday to see if there were any updates on the beta here is his response below
"I actually just sent an email to engineering last night asking that same question. Unfortunately, I haven't heard back yet, but once I do, you'll be first on my list to be notified."

Hi
I've just tried the new beta firmware on a X75 v2 EU version but some home devices can't authenticate anymore while connecting to the X75 while others, a couple of laptops using an Intel AC 8265 can connect to the X75 wireless but can not surf the Internet even if the pings are successful. The issue can be mitigated if I force another device, like an X50, as preferred device.
However, even if I have mixed devices (X75,X50,M4 and M5) I'm no experimenting other issues.
All the best,
A.
