Yesterday

@Js4utra welcome to the club. I've had issues with every single firmware update I've done to these routers, to the point that they are about to be put out to pasture and replaced with something more reliable. Every time I do an update it completely kills my upload and download speeds for my whole network. If I run the Speedtest on the Deco app it shows the correct speeds up and down for my 2.5Gbps internet I pay for. However anything inside my network running a speed test shows insanely high latency and maybe 1/5 of the speed it should have. Sometimes a simple reboot or reboot of the firmware through the web page fixes it, or in down cases like today I've been screwing it for 2 hours and it's still broken. No one at TP-Link seems to know why it does this, which is why I'm on the verge of moving on to actually reliable equipment.

Hi, I was fine with the previous firmware, but with the latest version I’m getting better speeds on my Android phone in the living room. In the basement, where the router is located, the speed is also good, but it’s not very consistent. As you mentioned, the speed test in the Deco app consistently shows 2.17 Gbps (Optimum Fiber).

For your reference, I also tested the speed from my desktop, which is connected directly to the router via a wired connection. The download speed is inconsistent, but the upload speed is always stable.
