App not Connecting to Deco
Hey guys, running firmware 1.31 Build 20260304 Rel. 4758 and noticed that the deco app cannot connect to the deco unit unless I'm using the guest network. If I use the main or iot networks I keep getting an error saying reconnect and I can't access anything in the app. It doesn't even show the online clients. But when I connect to the guest network I can gain entry into deco app.
What's even more crazy is that it works when I use mobile data too.
I factory reset the deco, I even created a new network with new ssid and I still cannot access the deco app settings.

First please access the Deco web UI by entering "tplinkdeco.net" in your browser. Navigate to Advanced > System > System Log, select "ALL" in the log type, and save the file to your local computer. Then follow the steps below making sure to attach the logs to the email.
I recommend sending an email to forumsupport.usa@tp-link.com with the following information:
Subject: [Forum Escalation][ID 860958] App not Connecting to Deco
Forum Nickname: [User Provided]

Hi, if you're using an iPhone, I think you could check whether the "Local Network" has been enabled for the Deco APP:

@David-TP I am using android. If I use the main network network which is the first one I set up on the deco device, I cannot change or assess any of the settings in the deco app. After a few seconds it gives error about reconnect to app. The internet connection is stable but I just cannot do anything in the app. I only have one deco unit and it was never an issue before.
Finally, when I'm at work and connected to work wifi I can access the settings in the app. If I home I can only access the settings using the guest, iot or mobile data networks. But not on the main network. Hope you understand.
What is even crazy, is I have a wireguard Config loaded and I have added my phone to the client to be connected. But when I check my ip address it does not reflect what to what the vpn is connected to. So it's like my phone is connected to the internet but the deco does not recognize it when using the main network

Hi, it is recommended to refer to this link to submit the Deco App log:
-When you submit the Deco App feedback, it would be highly appreciated if you could make a short screen recording on the Deco App about the following issue:
"I cannot change or assess any of the settings in the deco app. After a few seconds, it gives error about reconnect to app. "
Have you tried to delete the Deco App and install it again on your mobile phone?
It would be very helpful if you could try to install the Deco App on another mobile phone, if possible.
