Model: Archer A7
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 1.0.14 Build 20200220 rel. 33197(5553)

I successfully installed the router and it was allowing me to access my business websites. One day it stopped and I began receiving notices that the web page could not be opened because the browser couldn't establish a secure connection to the server where my sites reside. I have tried various devices and various browsers and receive the same error notice. I called my web host and there was not problem on their end - they could view the sites. They suggested I contact my ISP. I called the ISP and they informed me they are not blocking the sites. I contacted TP-Link's support team and was asked to see if I can connect to the sites with my device hardwired to the ISP modem. I can connect then. I can also connect on my iPhone on cellular. There is clearly something in the router's configurations that are blocking these sites. I have looked at the settings for the primary DNS and changing it to 8.8.8.8. It's already set to that. I am at my wit's end and will be returning this router if someone is unable to provide a solution. I don't see that there is any way to whitelist certain domain ip addresses. Please help.

@Lannie1011

There was a issue before where a user was not able to access a airline website, turns out their IP was blacklisted rather then the router blocking.

Either have the ISP issue a new IP address or see what IP you have now, then turn off the modem for a couple of minutes, and turn the modem back on to see if you have a different IP.

Swapping routers will also help verify if it is the A7.

@Tony I know it has something to do with the ip address but I can't figure out which one. I have an old Asus router that doesn't give me a problem and I can access the sites when hardwiring through the A7 modem. I did a traceroute on the one site and this is what I got:

eaglesoars.com (66.96.149.1), 64 hops max, 52 byte packets
 1  192.168.0.1 (192.168.0.1)  2.042 ms  3.567 ms  1.464 ms
 2  10.37.0.1 (10.37.0.1)  11.346 ms  8.649 ms  10.032 ms
 3  host-24-246-128-9.com.morrisbb.com (24.246.128.9)  10.309 ms  9.315 ms  9.781 ms
 4  * * *

 6  be4978.ccr41.atl04.atlas.cogentco.com (38.142.128.121)  18.410 ms  17.992 ms  18.172 ms
 7  be2848.ccr42.atl01.atlas.cogentco.com (154.54.6.117)  19.700 ms  17.536 ms  18.091 ms
 8  be2113.ccr42.dca01.atlas.cogentco.com (154.54.24.221)  28.532 ms  28.136 ms  28.769 ms
 9  be2807.ccr42.jfk02.atlas.cogentco.com (154.54.40.109)  34.789 ms  40.710 ms  38.296 ms
10  be3472.ccr32.bos01.atlas.cogentco.com (154.54.46.33)  42.909 ms  43.578 ms  42.960 ms
11  endurance-international-group.demarc.cogentco.com (38.97.106.34)  43.090 ms  42.721 ms  41.920 ms
12  238.252.148.207.static.yourhostingaccount.com (207.148.252.238)  44.504 ms  41.597 ms  39.209 ms
13  1.149.96.66.static.eigbox.net (66.96.149.1)  58.897 ms  58.481 ms  59.527 ms

I don't really know what I'm looking at, but I can tell you that the IP address on my router for morrisbb is 24.246.186.11. How is it coming up with a different ip address in line 3? I'm going to try turning the modem off and then back on.

Something else to check. Are you running a VPN? If so turn it off or select a different site/country. If not consider getting a free one (try for 30 days deal) and see if that makes a difference as that would show if it was caused by the IP address.

@hacair

Have you checked Tony's and ArcherC8's suggestions? Is the model also Archer C7? Which website or website did you fail to access?
