Deco x20 and Harmony Hub

Hardware Version: V2

Firmware Version: 1.1.3

Just installed a TPLink Deco X20. Works great except for my Harmony Hub. Using any device to control my TCL Roku TV; Harmony companion remote, Alexa, or mobile app has a 5-10 second delay before it obeys. Using those same devices to control my sound bar through the hub has no delay at all, which is confusing me.

I have the Hub set as a priority device on the Deco, anything else I could do?

Hi, Welcome to the community.

I am sure whether it is related to Deco and Did you have the same issue before using Deco X20?

There are more suggestions for your reference:

1. turn off the Mesh Technology on the Deco App for Harmony Hub.

2. turn off fast roaming/beamforming on the Deco APP.

No, I was using a TPLink Archer A7 previously and did not have this issue. 1. I have turned off Mesh for that device. 2. I'm turning off Fast Roaming and Beam forming, though in protest. I don't like turning off major features. I'll test and let you know if this helps.

Well, I'll be darned, that did it. Thanks. I hate turning off those features so I'll start looking for a Harmony alternative.
