Model: Deco X20
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 2.14.3

Hi!

I have setup a wired connection to my main Deco X20 from my router.  I then have my primary computer wired to the second CAT5 port of the main Deco X20.

I also have a TNAS file server that is directly connected to my router.

My issue is that my primary computer (on the Deco X20) is no longer on the same network as my file server (on the router) and therefore is unable to access it through the network.  This makes transferring files, access the operating system of the file server, and other maintenance on the file server impossible.

Short of re-wiring everything to either take the file server and move it over to the Deco X20 network, is there another option?  Maybe some port forwarding or reserve port?  I don't even think that my primary computer can ping the other network range though.

Really appreciate any help!

Thank you,

Peter

  @SneakyPete84

Hi, you could try to change Deco X20 to access point mode:

How to set up Deco to work in Access Point mode

Best regards.
