X90 Address Reservation bugged out

Model: Deco X90

Hardware Version: V1

Firmware Version: 1.1.2 B20210722 R65801

Deco X90 Address Reservation has bugged out. After saving the ip address, quit the page and come back, the address 3rd place will always changed to 0.

My IP range & DHCP is 192.168.2.xxx that i set during setup.

For example, i select my laptop at 192.168.2.4, save it under address reservation, and it showed the successfully saved device and address of 192.168.2.4

Quit the address reservation page and enter again, the address will changed to 192.168.0.4. The 3rd place always auto changed to 0, for all devices & addresses.

I can change the LAN IP range from 192.168.2.x to 192.168.0.x to solve this issue, but why must i accommodate the bug. Deco M4 & M5 are working properly in this case.

Hi, I see this issue has been reported before.

And they have posted a beta firmware for it：https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/567404?page=1

But it took me a while to find it. Hope it helps.

Thanks for letting us know about this. I will let our team know to see if they can reproduce the issue. When this happens does it appear to be a visual glitch, or actually assigning an incorrect address? If it was a visual glitch the device would have still been able to connect to the internet

Thanks for the reply. It is not visual glitch because the device does not change to the IP that i want it to be after restarted the device (i change the last place of the address to suit my port forwarding setup, and that new address is not used by other devices). Whether or not i change the last place address or keep it unchanged, the 3rd place will always auto change to 0.

Connecting to internet is not an issue.
