Our deco m9plus has been working with no issues for the past 18 months. We have come home to a flashing red light on the deco so we restarted the deco. The deco now has a flashing blue light indicating it's ready for set up but the deco app says "we couldn't find deco" after initially showing our previously setup deco network details in the background. We don't want to see up a new network if possible.

Hi, welcome to the community.

Are you still able to see Deco's wireless network under the wireless settings on the smartphone?

If the Deco kept blinking blue and no previous network SSID could be found, I think the old network somehow had been deleted and you might need to delete the old history on the Deco APP and start the setup again.
