Model: Deco
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.0.1

(Deco X60) Speeds are unstable, IPv6 simply doesn't work, the web interface is a joke, won't allow LAN address as DNS and finally it won't update to the latest firmware now. Everything is just "dumbed down". My old Netgear Orbi setup was WiFi 5 but provided faster and more consistent WiFi performance. I just wish I knew beforehand how stripped down the web interface is. Usually you can do more and tweak your system the way you want it via web interface.

  @B_D

Hi, Thank you very much for your feedback. I hope it is not too late to check what happened to the Deco X60.

I searched in the Media.com community and happened to see a similar case with another router:

https://community.mediacomcable.com/t5/internet/ipv6/td-p/697, which made me think it might not be limited to Deco.

Could you please send an email to support.forum@tp-link.com with the following information:

1. A screenshot of the IPV6 settings on the Deco X60.

2. If there is a wired laptop, could you please connect it directly to the Media.com modem and save a picture of the IPV6 settings on the laptop?

As for the unstable speed on Deco, can I have more details about it?

For the web UI of Deco, Deco is mainly designed for APP control and the features on the web interface are very limited.

If you wish to see more features on the Deco APP, please feel free to submit a Feature Request.

Wait for your reply.

Best regards.
