Which is the better Network topology for Ethernet Backhaul??

A. Wired Deco with each other through their Lan ports

B. Wired Main deco to a Switch then Connect Other Deco to the Switch with each own Lan cable

*note: this would be a network with 6 Deco units and under a 100 Clients.

  @Jong1

Hi, welcome to the community.

For a Mesh with 6 units, I would recommend the second topology.

Here is what I thought:

Ethernet Backhaul via Network switch would save each satellite with two available Ethernet ports. If any of the satellite Deco X50s went down, it will not mess up with the internet connection of other satellite Decos.

Thank you very much.

Best regards.
