At the moment I am using an M5 deco as the router for my WiFi devices. I need to install a wired router in between them and the ONT for my fiber internet, will I lose all of my parental controls? Or, can I leave one of them set as router since the router I'm installing won't be transmitting WiFi.

Right now I'm  using the M5 as a router, I have parental controls setup for my 11 year old kid and when I was looking at switching them to access point mode I noticed it said parental controls are not supported.

  @CornNut

You will indeed lose parental control if you do not run the Deco as a router?

Did you consider plugging the Deco into the ONT?

Can you configure the "wired router" to act as a bridge?

You can have two active, cascaded, routers.  I believe it is good enough for a basic domestic usage, but it is a source of complexity in case of problem, or when you want to adjust the configuration for some fancy usage.
