Hey @T7Peyton
Welcome to the community!
What is the operating system of your PC?
If you haven't already, try replacing the Ethernet cable to rule out a physical fault in the cable itself.
Is it connecting to a switch, or directly to a LAN port on your router? Have you tried switching ports?

@Ryan I am on windows 11. I don't think it's the ethernet cable because when i plug it directly into my motherboard it doesn't disconnect at all. Its connecting directly to my router, I cannot switch ports because my router only has one port that supports 2gb speeds.

I downloaded a Realtek PCI-E Ethernet Driver from my motherboards webpage and since then I have not experienced this issue.
The motherboard i have is a MSI MPG b550 Gaming Plus.

Thanks for the update and information.
That's certainly an interesting turn of events. Is your PC currently connecting to the LAN via its onboard Ethernet port, or via the TX201?
If the latter, there is a chance your onboard Ethernet adapter's drivers may have been conflicting with the TX201.
When you were encountering the issue, did you try disabling the onboard Ethernet via the Device Manager?
Also, if applicable, did you ensure Windows did not have the TX201 set to "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"?
