@NickoG put the extender in extender mode and use the advance/power settings to control time and a different ssid. You may need to get another extender to make it work for your network.

@ServerDude2017 You would think if it was firmware, hundreds would be reporting it. Unplug all the ethernet, power cycle the router, add one ethernet connection at a time and test.
