@ieee488 Smart connect turns both on using the same ssid. That is one reason I do not use smart connect.

@malada Assuming you are not using a vpn, that does not seem correct. Are you using IPv6 or using QoS? You can try turning off any security. I would contact support and try to geta new unit.

@Pierangelo No. Google tp link onemesh for routers that support onemesh and they only mesh with extenders. you can connect two routers with one in router mode and the other in AP mode. Not as good....
