If it were me, I would contact support and see if that have a resolution and in the mean time I would stay on the older version of the firmware.

The only thing I can think of is to remove Chrome from the computer and if it is added back, block the computer.

Is the drive formatted FAT, FAT32, or NTFS? Most routers do not support drives that are formatted in the Apple formats unless they specificly say they do.

Do you have any device that see the 2.4 network? What is the device that you are having an issue with? Also check your WIFI settings to be sure you do not have 'hide SSID' turned on.

Is that with all devices or just one? Some devices can only connect on one network. Try deleting (forget) the 2.4 network on the device and then reestablish it as that may be the issue.
