Hi there,

 

My smart mini plug was working just fine until we got a new router/new wifi.  I have tried and tried to add 2 plugs to the new wifi.  Everytime I've input the new wifi I get no further.

I've tried holding the side button down to reset the plugs, nothing seems to work.   

Now I need professional assistance.

 Hello @GJ1 

Please make sure the correct WiFi password was put in during set up process.

Turn off VPN  on the phone during set up process.

What should I do if I fail to configure the Kasa device?

 

Can I know the error message on Kasa app;   model of new Wi-Fi router;  model of phone and its Android or IOS version? 

You could try to connect plug to a mobile hotspot WiFi, update firmware, then connect it back to Wi-Fi router and see if that helps.
