I am not able to complete the setup of my smart switch after installation because it won't connect to the TP-Link network.

  Hell @mhearonjz 

If phone is unable to join TP-Link Smart Switch SSID, you could try tips here: 

  • turn off mobile data on the phone 
  • make sure VPN is off on the phone
  • try to reboot phone, and try a different phone if you have one
  • reset the kasa switch and reconnect to smart switch SSID.
