Model: Deco XE75
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.2.14 Build 20241015 Rel. 45922

So I have setup my three XE75 devices and adjusted their operational mode to ACCESS POINT.  Now how do I get them to connect to my existing Starlink wifi network?  I've been through every entry on the application Deco application (version 3.9.42) and can't find how to link these three access points to the wifi backhaul

Hi @Aaron-WFH

Welcome to the community!

In any Deco network setup, at least one Deco node (designated as the Main Deco during setup through the Deco app) must be connected to your existing internet source (e.g., modem, ONT, gateway) via an Ethernet cable. The other Deco nodes can connect to the Mesh network using either Wi-Fi or Ethernet.

In your case, the main Deco node would be connected to one of the LAN ports on your Starlink Gen 3 gateway.

Depending on whether you want the Starlink gateway or your Deco Mesh system to be the primary router—ideally, only one should operate as the router in the network—you can set up your network in one of the following two scenarios:

1. To use the Deco as your network's primary router, you'll want to enable Bypass Mode on your Starlink gateway, then set up the Deco in Router Mode.

2. To use the Starlink Gateway as your primary router, you'll want to set up your Deco Mesh in Access Point Mode.
