Hello@Speedwobble ,
Welcome to our community.
Can I know the models of your drivers?
When you test the USB connection, are you connecting the driver and the router via a converter cable?
Please ensure that the power supply to the driver and router is standard to eliminate the speed reduction caused by an insufficient power supply.
In addition, when did you buy the router? Does it work normally before on the USB sharing?

I have the same issue with BE230 v1.0, firmware is latest 1.2.1 Build 20250804 rel.79639(4555) but even the previous one didn't work. I see same errors in log:
Led Controller ERROR [1958] Config importing failed
Led Controller DEBUG [1958] Failed to read USB3
and the speeds are 40 MB/s max. Tried multiple USB 3 devices without any extension cables, all of them work only in USB 2.0 mode.
I noticed there have been multiple cases reported so there must be something wrong with the router's firmware.

I tried with an NVME drive in an enclusure. I get 1GB/s when connected to my laptop. and a couple older usb 3 drives that get around 100-150MB/s. The were slow out of the box. Bought it from Amazon about aweek before my original post.
Consider this my confirmation/reply.
