Firmware Version: 1.1.4

I recently installed a c400 I received for review. I am having trouble getting it to accept or recognize motion events. I have person detection off as it is installed in a chicken coop, motion detection is on. Camera is maybe 6 feet off the ground all settings set to max sensitivity and high performance mode. I am getting no recordings and this graph shows that "AI" is basically filtering out every motion event and disregarding it. I cant find a setting that will either turn this filtering off or allow less strict filtering. Camera is essentially useless other than live check-ins and I just wanted to ask if I'm missing something before I update my review.

Forum is not letting me upload a screenshot of the graph...will try again later but the other day I had 2300+ "filtered by AI and 0 (zero) event detections. Every day is along those lines...all events being filtered by AI.

Thanks

  @TekWarren

Hi,
In this chart, the vertical axis indicates the number of times the camera was awakened. The event detection refers to actual recognized events detected by the camera, which can trigger alerts or recordings based on your settings, and the filtered events refer to the events that we excluded, potentially due to occurring outside the detection area or being classified as invalid movement, such as a tree swaying.

In this case, please refer to the tips in Part 2 of the instructions below to troubleshoot.
What to do if the Detection feature is not working on the TP-Link Camera?

If the same behavior persists, please provide the following information for further analysis.
  1. Go to the camera's Device Settings > Detection page, and send us a screenshot of the Detection page.
  2. You can go to the camera's live view page to manually record a video that shows there are motions, but can't be detected and recorded by the camera. Then, please download the video to your phone and send it to us.
You can upload the video to your cloud server (such as Google Drive) or YouTube, generate a download link, and send it to me (@Solla-topee) via a private message.

Best Regards
