XE75 Pro in AP mode clients randomly don't get IPv6
Gateway is an ER8411 v1.6 with firmware 1.3.3. Daily reboot schedule at 5am.
3 x XE75 Pro Deco in Access Point wired to Gateway and to each other via switch. Daily reboot schedule at 5:10am.
ISP AT&T fiber (bypassed AT&T's gateway, ONT connected to ER8411 SFP+ port)
Wired clients always get IPv6.
Wireless clients get IPv6 then lose randomly during the day. Only way to bring back IPv6 is to toggle Smart DHCP from off to on then back to off on Decos.
Any reason why the Decos would drop IPv6 randomly?

I didn't think that the XE75 Pro got IPV6 when in AP Mode. I complained about it a year ago and got nowhere. Just checking my XE75Pro (6 of them) in AP mode, similar setup to yourself, and no IPV6 that I can see.
This lack of support is not advertised prior to purchase and, IMHO, is disgusting and easy enough to fix if they wanted to, however they only want you to upgrade to WiFi7 now.
You can put it into wifi router mode and still use your existing router but you will come up against double NAT. However, IPV6 is suddenly enabled (I think). Double NAT can be a pain, can cause some minor issues, but you could try it and see how you get on. If you do, I would love to know what results you get.

Something's definitely going on, the good news is that my wireless clients do get IPv6 addresses with the Deco in AP mode, they pass test-ipv6.com and ipv6test.google.com, websites tell me they connect via IPv6.
But IPv6 drops randomly during the day.
I had IPv6 LAN set to SLACC + RDNSS on the ER8411 before. I just saw a post of someone saying to set to SLAAC + DHCP so I am trying it now. So far my clients have IPv6, will see if it sticks.

IPv6 still doesn't stick on wireless clients. When it works it works well, but it's very inconsistent during the day.
Setting IPv6 manually works but not all OSes let you get a dynamic IPv4 and manual IPv6 so a true solution is needed.
No problems with wired clients so this is a Deco problem. TP-Link please investigate and fix.

Thanks for reaching out. I understand that you are concerned about the lack of IPv6 support when your Deco Mesh system is set to Access Point (AP) mode, and that this limitation was not clearly advertised before purchase. You also mentioned that IPv6 appears to be available in Router mode, but switching to this mode introduces double NAT issues.

To clarify, when Deco Mesh devices (including your model) are set to Access Point mode, they primarily act as a bridge to extend your existing network and do not provide gateway features such as IPv6 routing, QoS, Parental Controls, DHCP Server, IPTV, VLAN, and DDNS. These features—including IPv6—are only available when Deco is operating in Router mode. This is a design limitation and is not specific to your model.

To switch between Router and Access Point modes:
 1. Ensure your phone is connected to the Deco Wi-Fi network.
 2. Open the Deco app and go to MORE > Advanced > Operation Mode to switch to Access Point mode.
 3. Connect the main Deco unit to your existing router for internet access. In this setup, your existing router remains the gateway, and the Deco acts as a bridge.

Note: After switching to Access Point mode, gateway features such as IPv6, QoS, Parental Controls, DHCP Server, IPTV, VLAN, and DDNS will no longer be available in the Deco app.

If you require IPv6 functionality, you will need to use Deco in Router mode. However, as you mentioned, this may result in double NAT if you have another router in your network. To avoid double NAT, you can either set your existing router to bridge mode or use Deco as the main router.

If you need more details on double NAT or IPv6 setup, please let us know and we can provide further guidance.

I put the Deco in Router mode and am seeing the same issue. The IPv6 address randomly dissapears then comes back on wireless clients.
