I just updated my iOS Tapo App yesterday (1/4/26). And now I see that, in the home page of the app, each of my cameras no longer shows wether if the solar panel is charging the batteries or not. I used to see a green battery icon with lightning bolt when solar panels where charging but now I only see battery percentage.
anyone else having this issue too? Tapo: please bring this feature back!
Hi,
On the Tapo app > camera's Device Settings > Battery Status page, please ensure the Show Battery Status and Show Battery Percentage options are enabled.
Is your Tapo app version 3.16.1?
What's your camera's model number, hardware, and firmware version?
