The arm between the base and the camera won't tighten up enough to stay in position. It keeps dropping and virtually useless. Anyone else experiencing this and what did you do to remedy this situation?

Thanks for kind responses!

If extra washer does not work I would use some krazy glue gel

  @Sprat24

Just based on what you are decribing I would say you may have a defective camera.  However, a common culprit of this type of situation is the tension on the power cord.  If this doesn't apply, then I would contact support to start a warranty claim.  If it does just all a litte slack in the power cord to resolve.

I have 3 C120 cameras with same problem. Tried to tighten the screw that should fix this with a very small allan wrinch but could not turn it a bit.

in my 3 cameras with this problem it is not the power cord for sure. When I first set them up all was good, but after I moved them several times to get pointed correctly they just started flopping down and would not stay up. I was making rather small up/down adjustments. when I started to adjust them there was good tension. The camera work great but just cannot position it. I recommended this camera to a neighbor and she bought 2 cameras. She called me and asked why one of them will not stay up and has the same problem. Currently she is using the camera by holding it up by the power cord with a staple holding the cord in place. There must be something in the arms that sets the tension.

Hi,
You can use a T6 Torx screwdriver to tighten the screws on the arms and check if this helps.

If the same phenomenon persists, please provide the following info for checking.
  1. When did you purchase the cameras, and when did the reported phenomenon start?
  2. Please describe how and where you installed the camera, or you can take photos of the environment where the camera is installed and used, and send them to us.

Best Regards
