Model: Archer AXE5400
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.5.2 Build 20260113 rel.53105(5553)

Just updated to 1.5.2 Build 20260113 rel.53105(5553) firmware version, and while laptops, tablets, other wifi devices appear to be back online following router reboot, my ecobee thermostat wifi is having issues. IP address is default range 169.254.255.x and it does not pick up Gateway or DNS addresses via DHCP.

What's up?? Please advise. Not a major problem, I just can't see weather info at a glance thanks to lack of internet. sad

UPDATE: For whatever reason, after a few hours the issue appears to have fixed itself, and the thermostat is again able to phone home for weather information. No config or other changes made on ir or my wifi beyond the router firmware update. Problem "solved". ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Hello @DarthContinent ,

I think this is a common, temporary compatibility or service latency anomaly after a router firmware update, and it usually resolves itself. A temporary solution is to have the device reconnect to Wi-Fi.

The equipment has now been restored to normal. We suggest you continue to observe it for a while. Please feel free to contact us if there are any further questions.
