The camera can be awakened by actions within the app, such as viewing the camera's live feed, or by the PIR sensor. You can refer to the instructions below to learn how to wake up the C402.

In your situation, it may be that the camera does not wake up by the event occurs in the garage, so no video is recorded. This is related to several factors, such as camera settings, installation position, environment, and the person's movement trajectory. It's recommended to troubleshoot by following the instructions below.
1. Please note that due to the mechanism of the camera's PIR sensors, the objects moving directly towards the camera may not be detected to some extent.
