@Scott_Beamer Check on the netwrok adapter properties of the laptop, should be a setting to select the prefered channel.

@FrakeTrain The manual says that they are either on or off. The only flashing will be the power button during power up, firmware updates or using WPS. I have never had a router that flashes.

@5Guru I have a system that sits directly above the router on the 2nd floor. It will show connected with 5 and 6, is it doing anyhting? Who knows?
