Shortcuts - Pan & Tilt to viewpoint not working
Saturday
Model: Tapo C220
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.2

I have 2 shortcuts setup. Home, and Away.

When I run the Home Shortcut I want the following 3 actions to happen:

1. Pan & Tilt rotates camera to physically face the wall (Viewpoint 1),

2. Turn privacy on,

3. Turn motion tracking off.

When I run the Away Shortcut I want somewhat the reverse to happen:

1. Pan & Tilt rotates camera to physically face the entry (Viewpoint 2),

2. Turn Privacy off,

3. Turn motion tracking on.

Unfortunately I have tried repeatedly and the pan and tilt will not rotate te camera to the correct angle with either shortcut even though pressing on the viewpoint itself works fine. If I switch shortcuts from home to away for example it will simply turn privacy mode on and leave the camera facing where it is. If it's in Home mode and I press Away it will pan to the correct location but tilt will remain facing upwards so it sees nothing, things like that.

I have deleted and recreated the shortcuts and the viewpoints multiple times, rebooted the camera, checked firmware, etc. Nothing resolves the issue.

  @markdshark

Hi,
Please try to set a shortcut entry to pan & tilt camera only, and then check if the shortcut entry will work.
Note: Please ensure the Tapo app is up to date.
Best Regards

@Solla-topee Hi. Thanks for the suggestion. I deleted the other actions in the shortcut and if each shortcut is just set to Pan & tilt only then that works.

Wondering why the multiple actions is not working. Also, what is the recommended way to perform multiple actions then? Eg. Set privacy on/off, enable /disable tracking, etc.

Best,
Mark
