@David-TP I have 3 BE65 units running the latest firmware in the UK. Backhaul mode is set to Maximum Capacity, which should disable the 2.4GHz backhaul. But all the units are broadcasting a hidden 2.4 GHz signal. Why?
If this is part of the stability fix then surely the app should not give the impression that 2.4GHz backhaul is optional when that's no longer the case. My 6GHz signal strength is perfectly adequate between router and satellite.
It's easy to spot my signals because I have the only WiFi 7 network within visible range and they are all WiFi 7 broadcasts.

Hi, thank you very much for the feedback.
"Backhaul mode is set to Maximum Capacity"
-Do you refer to the "Wireless Network Mode"?
In the Mesh network, do you have other Deco models apart from Deco BE65?
Wait for your reply.
Best regards.

Hi. Yes, that's the mode I am talking about. Observe in note 1 that the mode is referred to as "backhaul mode", which in my opinion is much more accurately descriptive of the function than the name of the menu item itself and registers with me far more easily.
Anyway, I have no other mesh nodes from TP-Link or anyone else. Nor have I ever.
Occasionally one or both satellites might be powered down. I don't know whether that would cause 2.4 GHz backhaul to kick in, searching desperately for the "missing" satellite(s), but from the description of the function I would not expect it to. Off means off, right?

I am finding this version more unstable. things i have notice compared to 1.1.7
- router doesnt always come back online after nightly reboot. red light (need to powercycle the unit manually)
- have wifi signal but no data (need to powercycle the unit)
- sometimes most devices is forced to connect to a satellite even when main is the closest. when trying to force connect to main it fails. (requires powercycle)
- when synology nas powers on from being off, cant ping device but can see it connected in interface. tried rebooting PC and nas, doesnt connect. powercycle router brings connection back.
i have a cable modem which is always on. when the router fails to work i connect the modem directly to pc and it works fine. hence the reboot of router fixes the issue. cpu and memory usage on router is low. not a great product if you need to reboot randomly to fix connection issues

By the way, how many SSIDs have you enabled on the Deco BE65-1.2.0, for example:
Main 2.4+5 GHz WiFi with SSID#1, 6GHz-SSID#2, MLO with SSID#3.....

Hi, it seems like you already installed the latest firmware version for Deco BE65_V1.0.
The 1.2.0 version here is only for V2.0. The similar 1.2.0 firmware for V1.0 would still take a while.
Best regards.
