Model: Tapo C325WB
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: Newest as of 17-1-2026

So I'm told previous firmware versions had this but I don't see it in updated firmware.

I need 1080P as it is the optimal resolution for Apple HomeKit connected through Scrypted. Without it I have to use 720P (why buy a FHD or better camera?) and if I use the full HD def the Scrypted server has to downsample to 1080P resultiing in a lot of processor and GPU workload for multiple cameras. The spec sheet on amazon says four video channels, does that mean there are RTSP streams I am missing? If not, please bring back more resolution options, they are available on my lower-end C320WS so the higher end shoud have all and more.

Please advise.

Thanks

Hi,
The Tapo C325WB V2 supports two high-resolution video streams (2560*1440) and two low-resolution video streams (1280*720) simultaneously. There are no RTSP streams missed.

The Tapo C325WB V2 does not have the 1080P resolution. If you want to stream a camera at 1080P via RTSP/Onvif, you may select a camera that has the highest resolution of 1080P. You can refer to the link to filter for one that interests you.

On our end, I'll log your feature request to add the 1080P resolution option to the Tapo C325WB v2 and forward it to the relevant team for evaluation. If you have just purchased the camera, you can contact your retailer to check whether you can return it.

Best Regards
