I've just mounted a 230 interior camera on a wall, is there a way to rotate the view in the app by 90 degrees rather than just invert? Or are they only suitable to be mounted in the ceiling?

The Tapo C230 can be mounted on the wall/ceiling/table, depending on your desired viewing range. However, please note that the camera can't rotate its viewpoint 90° in the Tapo app. If you mount it horizontally on the wall but want to rotate the viewpoint 90° in the Tapo app, then placing it on a table or mounting it on the ceiling is a better choice.
