hello 

my c510 is also bricked with a red light.

it will not respond to resets.

it will only come on with a red light.

tried to add it to app again and cant do anything 

 

is there a way to force it to update new firmware to sd card and fit self?

where can i find latest firmware download for c510w

 

camera not in app

cant add to app

permanent red light

 

have read similar complaints after a firmware update

Hi,
We do not have the instructions to recover the camera via SD card. For the reported phenomenon, you can try the following steps.


  1. Turn off your camera, and remove the SD card from it if there is one. Turn the camera back on with the original power adapter and cord.
  2. Wait for two minutes, press and hold the reset button on the camera for 10 seconds to perform a factory reset. Then, check the LED status on the camera. 
  3. If the LED is flashing red and green, you can try to reconfigure the camera in the Tapo app: How to set up the Tapo camera 
  4. If the camera's LED does not change and the camera does not respond to the reset operation, you can contact your retailer or the local support team to check if the camera is under warranty.
