@Philipnik

Hi, have you checked whether the M7650 is on the 4G+, or 4G only mode?

And did M7650 use the same 4G band on the smartphone?

Normally, 5ghz would be faster than the 2.4ghz and you could consider changing the wireless band to 5ghz:

@TP-Link i allready have it on 5ghz but this is not he problem.

sometimes it gets good speed, some times not.

on m7650 it doesnt give you the ability to change the band or even to see in which band is connected.

@TP-Link

Dear Customer Service!

Is there no newer firmware for the Tp-Link M7650 v1.0 than the 2018 version? Maybe beta firmware exists? Thank you very much.

Hi,

I've the same issue with the M7650 and looking on this forum and others, it seems several people have the same problem with M7650 hardware V1. I suspect there is a problem with this V1 and there is no firmware update proposed for this V1, only for the V1.1.

I'm not an expert but it seems like the router is not using multi-band. With the same SIM in a mobile or an other router, I'm getting connection 4-5 times faster.

Any suggestion ?
thanks

JP
