Solution Disable OneMesh Hidden SSID on the 3G/4G modem
Hello everyone,
Some customers may report their Onemesh routers are emitting a hidden network, which makes them confused and nervous as they cannot turn it off manually on the router web GUI.
The hidden wireless network is used to build up the mesh wireless network system, and it cannot be detected by the common wireless devices. You can refer to this article for more details:
https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/stories/detail/728
Just like the existing Deco mesh package products, the specific hidden network with high-intensity random password can guarantee the security of the network. So no worries.
However, if you still want to disable the Onemesh hidden network on the router, we here provide a beta firmware for the MR600 V1 and MR200 V4/V5, customers can install this firmware on your device, then disable the Onemesh network manually via the web GUI.

For other models, we will add this feature in the near future. This will take some time, however, we hope you could wait patiently.
Note: We as always strongly recommend our customer upgrade their TP-Link devices to the latest official firmware, you can try the beta firmware posted by our TP-Link Admins/Officials unless the official firmware doesn't resolve the issue you experience.
Note:
1. Please check the device label to verify the country code and hardware version of your device first, and choose the correct file to download and install.
2. Be sure you have read the Terms and Conditions for TP-Link Beta Firmware before proceeding!

Hi, for the MR600 V3:
is the FW Archer_MR600v3_1.1.0_0.9.1_[230308-rel33431]_up_boot_2023-03-08_09.25.04 linked in your post
an updated version of Firmware Version:1.1.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 230131 Rel.60060n_Beta (which Beta was installed by TP Link Service last year when testing the 4G+ bugs discussed elsewhere)?
The date of the FW version that you posted would suggest so (230308 vs 230131), but the Release number (rel33431 vs 60060n_Beta) may suggest the Beta is more up to date? Even though the Beta does not include the option to disable OneMesh Hidden SSID / Wifi signal?
When will TP Link provide an official FW Update fixing the OneMesh Hidden AND the 4G+ issue (incl. CA options to aggregate same bands (e.g. B7 + B7) - for which pls reach out to your team whom I have described this further issue in an email)?
Thanks

Hi, for firmware version, please pay attention to the build numbers, like 230308 or 230131 which indicate the dates instead of the random rel numbers.
Thus based on the build numbers, the 230308 is newer than 230131.
Regarding the 4G+ related issue, I checked your support ticket and found your reply, our senior engineer will continue to follow up.

Thanks for clarifying.
So when will the new FW be published on the Official Support / Download pages? Both the German and the UK sites only offer MR600(EU)_V3_220307 (https://www.tp-link.com/de/support/download/archer-mr600/#Firmware and https://www.tp-link.com/uk/support/download/archer-mr600/#Firmware )
I will try the FW for the MR600 V3 that you have made available in this post/thread.
