@Alexandre. Good initiative, I'm adding my thanks as well, keep up the good work, don't mind the nay-sayers too much.

@Alexandre. First, I agree that in (probably almost) every forum there is always more negative then positive posts and it's a good thing to point out the positives. In this case i can't agree to say "better late then never" TP-Link still sells M9 devices and the support isn't good, lots of problems and lack of features.
Customers that bought the M5's and thought that the M9 would be an upgrade are getting a slap in the face because of missing essential features they had on M5's (ie: like selecting deco A needs to communicate with deco B and not deco C) I know that these features where not present when the deco's (M5/M9) got released since i was an early adopter, but again, these products are still worldwide available to buy in stores (!!!) and the M5's get pushed the latest firmware.
At this moment the 1.6.1 firmware has not been pushed to the M9's so imo TP-Link is still not done... so i can't say anything positive when a company is screwing over there (avarage) customers by letting a more expensive product be a downgrade.

@gabardina I checked out of curiosity in the section to update devices and I have left the new version and I have already installed it for the moment it is going well.

Hi
V2 M9s updated to 1.6.1 via the app.
Despite website showing 1.6.1 available for V1, app keeps telling me they're up to date (currently on 1.5.1)
How do I get the app to update my V1 M9s to 1.6.1?
I'm in the UK

Thank you @David-TP
I've been running 1.6.1 for several days now and no issues. The new 100Mb/s warning showed up for me as our in wall cabling doesn't support any faster. Hopefully any further firmware won't take a long thanks to the thorough testing of 1.6.x

@David-TP
I have been using the new version 1.6.1 on two deco m9 plus v2
It seems IGMP Snooping options missing in deco m9 plus. I have went to the web interface and I am only able to see wan unicast option.
One deco is connected to the provider network and works as router mode. Second deco is connected via cable to 1st deco as backhaul.
Without this option I am having several problems with my Meo (provider) tv box. It was working fine until the upgrade.

Hi, Thanks for the update.
IGMP Proxy & Snooping is enabled by default and supports IGMP v1/V2/v3 and the IGMP Feature on/off button on the web UI is to decide whether IGMP v3 only is required.
The firmware release note of 1.6.1 does not mention the removal of this option. Could you please refer to the following suggestions:
1. reboot the whole Deco M9 plus system once.
2. change a different web browser and log into the web interface again.
(Optional) if possible, please change a different Deco as the main Deco to see whether it made any difference:
How to Set up the Satellite Deco or a new Deco to be the Main Deco
If nothing changed, could you please send an email to support.forum@tp-link.com with the following information:
1. A screenshot on the web UI that IGMP is missing.
2. What issues do you have with the Meo TV box?
Thank you very much.
Best regards.
