Hello everyone,


I'm happy here to announce that the official firmware for Deco M4 V4 that allows choosing the signal source and connection preference is now available. 
                                                                                                   Deco M4_V4_1.1.0 Build 20230112

 

More details about New Features/Enhancement:
1. Support for customizing Satellite Deco signal source.
2. Support for customizing Clients connection preference.
3. Support for Reboot Schedule.
4. Support for NO-IP and DynDNS.
5. Support for setting Effective Time and Bandwidth Limit for guest network.
6. Support detection of WAN-side Ethernet cable specifications and prompts for exceptions in the app.
7. Support IPv6 plus and Dual-Stack Lite.
8. Added Smart DHCP switch under Access Point mode.

 

Notes:
1. Please update your Deco APP to the latest version for the new features.
2. If there are non-1.6.0/1.1.0 models in the Mesh network, you may miss some new features but this feature will be supported via firmware update in the future.
3. You may miss some new features when Deco is set to Access Point mode.

Hi David,

the subject says 1.6.0 but the download is 1.1.0

....and what about M4 V2? and X20?

I'm also waiting for the update for M4-V2. My network mostly works as expected since I got rid of my 4G router in favor of a fiber connection (and main deco now in "the center" of the chain), but I would still like to set the signal sources manually to avoid having to reboot everything in the rare cases when my upstairs deco decides to connect to the garage (which is connected through the basement via a slightly unstable powerline ethernet system and just barely in range of the upstairs deco when the wind blows just right)

  @David-TP I'm disapointed, x55 now has the newer firmware and still not deco m4 which is what a lot of people use and need this firmware...
