Hi all,

I'm wondering whether possible to change the alarm sound (not the notification but the alarm itself) on detection.

I mean to set a custome sound instead of the one by default.

 

Is it possible with TAPO C310 camera?

Hi,
On the Tapo app>click on a camera>tap the Settings icon at the top right corner>go to Detection & Alerts page>Turn on Camera Alarm>tap Alarm Sound, then you will be able to select Siren or Tone sound. However, it's unable to set a custom sound on the C310 now.

 

While we don't have any specific details that I can share about if this feature can come to the product or when it might, I'll log the feature request and pass it along to the team to evaluate.

Hi,

Currently, we have the Tapo C500 support custom alarm sounds.

As the picture below, you can click on 'tap to record' and start recording your own sound for up to 15 seconds to be an alarm sound.

The Tapo C500 supports recording only rather than taking a sound file.

Hi, 
The Tapo C500 is an outdoor Pan/Tilt Security Wi-Fi Camera, you can adjust the lens with the Pan&Tilt feature on the Tapo app.
