  @Solla-topee

Not sure if this is relevant in this situation but I just had this very same issue (detected events list missing below the timeline) with my Tapo C310 using the app on an iPhone.

It turns out that in my case the problem appears to be have been caused by my iPhone approaching its storage capacity. As soon as I freed up a couple of gig the detected events list returned.

I just wanted to pop this in the thread in case it can help someone.

Cheers,

MD

  @kenalkp

Hi,
Thank you for the case report. Please ensure your Tapo app is the latest one, try to watch the camera via the Tapo app on a different phone, and check if the Detected Events appear on the Playback page.

If the problem remains, please help confirm:
1. The version of the Tapo app.
2. The phone's model number and OS version.
3. A picture of the Playback page on the Tapo app, and can you see the detection recordings with different colors on the Playback>Timeline?

Best Regards

Dear, @Solla-topee

I tried installing the TAPO App on another phone but the same issue is persisting. Also I made sure that the App has been updated with the latest version available in Play Store.

Please find below details.

1. Version of TAPO App: 2.17.112

2. Phone's Model Number: SM-A336E/DS (SAMSUNG GALAXY A33)

3. Android Version: 13

3. ONE UI Version: 5.1

4.Picture of playback has been attached. I can't see playback recordings with different colors. I can see the entire timeline with single colour only since the issue is persisting.

Regards,

Kenal.

Hi,
Please refer to the steps below to collect the device log and app log for further analysis.
1. Connect your phone to the same Wi-Fi network as the camera.
2. Go to the camera's Device Settings>Advanced Settings>Diagnostics page to enable the Diagnostics.
3. Go to the camera's Live View>Playback & Download>Playback page, select the SD card icon and ensure the problem is existing.
4. Go to the Tapo app>Me>Help & Feedback>Cameras>Feedback>select your camera, tap Next >type forum ID 619568, select Add System logs and Send App Log>tap Send Feedback to send us the log files. We will analyze the log files to try to locate and solve the issue.

  @Solla-topee

Hi, I am having the same issue with 2 out of 4 cameras. One of the cameras stopped working months ago. The second camera started experiencing this issue as of 11/03. From 11/03 and before, the playback page still shows all of the clips of AI detection events (with orange and green lines). However, from 11/04 until present day the detection events are missing. Please assist.

Phone Model: iPhone 11 Pro (issue is present across 4 different phones owned by users with access to cameras)

Camera Model: Tapo C320WS
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.7 Build 230713 Rel. 28081n(5553) (same for all 4 cameras)
App Tapo Version:3.0.510

  @penntist

Hi,
Please help confirm that the problem is the detection events(with orange and green lines) still show on the timeline on the Playback page from 11/04 but with no detection events list, or the timeline without detection events and also no detection events list on the Playback page.
It would be highly appreciated if you could send me a picture of the Playback page to show the problem.
Best Regards

  @Solla-topee I've attached an image of the playback page from my phone. There are no orange and green lines anywhere, whether on the timeline itself or below where the clips are supposed to be. Both cameras in question are experiencing the same issue.

I have restarted the devices, re-paired them to the app/wifi, verified the function of the high endurance microSD cards, and confirmed that settings across all 4 cameras (2 of which are working fine) are identical.

Also, I just ordered 4 new cameras from Amazon to expand coverage. I noticed that I received two different versions, including (2) Ver2.2 and (2) Ver2.26. Ver2.26 shows support for 512GB local SD storage on the packaging whereas Ver2.2 shows support for 256GB local SD storage. Which camera is the newest revision? I assume Ver2.26 because it states support for larger local storage, but I'm hoping you can confirm. I plan to keep the 2 newer ones and 2 return the older ones.
