  @FatihKurnaz

Hi, Thank you very much for the feedback. I'll report to the engineer to see whether they can reproduce similar issues.

Could you please refer to this link to help me submit the Deco APP log:

How to submit Deco APP log

By the way, can I have the model number of the parental mobile phone with the Deco APP installed and the model number of the Kid's device?

Wait for your reply and best regards.

  @IGM Hi, it is now open for all HomeShield users if you have the Deco APP up-to-date.

(3.8.123-Android; 3.8.129 for IOS)

Best regards.

  @David-TP

I installed your app on my child’s iPhone (even though it said iOS wasn’t supported yet) and enabled the Advanced features via my iMac. The concept and level of control are excellent—a genuinely good initiative—but I’m running into major bugs:

  • The On-the-Go profile blocks almost everything, including safe sites (apple.com), school Zoom meetings, and iCloud (backups fail).

  • At times, the phone loses internet entirely.

  • I can’t sign out of Find My iPhone to remove the Advanced KidShield profile I installed from my iMac.

Since I keep having to recover the phone, I’m removing it for now. Please share clear steps to fully uninstall and restore connectivity.

Once the iOS version is out of beta and stable/bug-free, I’ll gladly reinstall and try again. I’m happy to provide logs/screens if helpful.

Thanks,

  @VikramMann

Hi, thanks for the feedback.

Can you share a video clip of "I can’t sign out of Find My iPhone to remove the Advanced KidShield profile I installed from my iMac," or would there be any error message?

(If the video is too large, you could try to post an online linkcool.)

As I'm not the owner of the tested network, I asked the engineer to help me test "deleting an On-the-Go profile"; he didn't seem to run into any issues.

Thank you very much.

Best regards.

Re:KidShield Now Open for Trial!
Tuesday

  @David-TP Hi, I was not able to remove "on the go" profile because "Find my iPhone" was on, and I was not able to turn it off because Kidshield blocked internet access. I tried adjusting time, restarting the phone, allowing more time.... whatever i could but i was not able to access the internet. Then, after 2-3 hours it started working on its own, then I signed out of Find My iPhone and uninstalled the "on the go" profile.

On the go profile issues I faced were;

- Contacts go missing

- iCloud not working

- No internet connection, even when the time limit is not over.

- It blocks all sites, even though they are safe, like iCloud, Zoom, etc.

We should be allowed to add the site like icloud once and it should allow all its subsidary urls as allowed and safe. Like the asterisk (\*) wildcard character should allow the subsidary url links of that website. Otherwise it very difficult to allow all urls one by one.
