1. Please be sure you have read the Terms and Conditions for TP-Link Beta Firmware before proceeding.
2. For Deco M4_V2, the firmware downgrade(back to the official 1.5.8 version) needs to be implemented via firmware recovery.
3. For Deco S4_V2, it would revert to the official 1.5.1 directly via web UI.
4. How to update the firmware via web UI.

I just got the 1.61 update today and it doesn't have source selection yet, but hopefully the 1.7 version will be released soon. I don't have time to mess with beta firmwares at the moment, so I'll wait for the official one.

how to know if my deco m4 is v2 or not? in the web gui it says model is M4R(2.0) and current version is 1.5.8 Build 20230619 Rel. 48552. is that correct?

@Bugs22 I have a lot of users and 24 hours a day which causes a lot of cached data on my router I think I want to turn off these devices at least once a day so I have to do this manually and it's annoying I have given a lot of feedback to my local office about this issue They also told me to work on v2 version.
