new firmware not updating all cameras-C520WS
Got an notification this morning that my Tapo camera had a new firmware available version 1.2.6 build 231130 ( replacing 1.2.5 231109). So i did update all cameras but only 1 out of 3 got updated. the other 2 stayed on 1.2.5, even though i manually do firmware update, Tapo comes back saying that the camera are up to date. Go figure?
Anyone else got this issue too?
PS ... did try camera reboot too.

Since we released the new firmware gradually, so some of the Tapo C520WS may have received the new firmware but some not. Please wait patiently, the new firmware will be released for the other cameras later.

@Solla-topee ..... so far not impressed with Tapo as I still don't have all my camera to the same version. If we had the option to upgrade ourselves by choosing file & upgrade, it would be much better. Currently i feel like i was lied at when i did the upgrade as it asked me to upgrade all of my cameras and it didn't.
Would i recommend Tapo to my friend / co-workers, it would be a no.

Hi,
We are releasing the new firmware gradually, and it will take some time for all devices to be pushed with the new firmware. Since we push the firmware based on the device rather than the TP-Link ID account, you may see some cameras receive a new firmware but some not, this is a normal phenomenon and won't affect your camera's performance, please don't worry that your camera with the old firmware can't update to the new firmware.
About the inquiry to be able to upgrade the firmware manually(choose file & upgrade), I'll log it and forward it to the relevant team to evaluate.
