I have:

 

  • 2 S7 decos
  • 1 C7 as main router
  • 5 Tapo Cameras + 1 Tapo Video Doorbell

 

 

My problem is:

My cameras are switching between my decos, sometimes I am having problems with it because when they connect to the farthest deco then it's almost impossible to see the cameras and the Doorbell is doing this as well...

 

Questions:

 

  • Is there a beta version of the Deco app available that I can use to manually select which Deco to connect to?
  • When will the Firmware of the Deco S7 be updated? (URGENT IMO)

  @David-TP The firmware 1.5 corrupted. Read about the problems in the forum with S7 connectivity and the problems with Connecting to nearest device.

I'll tried with VPN and it works perfekt then. There is something in the firmware 1.5 that is corrupt. You should fix it wery soon before you loose many customers.

@Kjk1963 Check if Deco shows location & date/time correctly in the web UI first (when not connected to VPN)

Just a M4 (2-pack) user who regrets buying it
