C210 Firmware updates
C210 Firmware updates
I have 2 new C210 indoor cameras, one of them is running 1.4.0 firmware and the other is on 1.3.11 and both show as Hardware Version 2.0
I checked the Download page for the C210 but it show no information about firmware for the Hardware Version 2.0?
On my 1.3.11 version when I check for firmware update it says it is already on the latest.
Is this another slow firmware rollout that will eventually be fully released?

Beware: 1.4 firmware update is breaking the Cameras. I got the update on 1 and now it won't connect to the internet no matter what. Tries almost all troubleshooting tricks. Other Cameras on 1.3.11 are working perfectly fine. Matter is with technical team though. Don't know how they are going to fix it as Tapo do not provide firmware files to downgrade or manually upgrade

Hi,
Does the camera show "can only be controlled locally" on the live view page? If so, please go to its Device Settings>Device Info page and send me the MAC address via a private message.

Yes it does show the message on the top in blue font. Sending you PM with MAC . But what are you going to do with it ?
