I knew that downgrading was not possible, but how do I change the wireless country code/region? It is currently set to United States, I need to change it to Brazil to free up some channels. Randomly when the AX90 restarts (it is using automatic channels) it may choose a channel that does not exist for Brazil, in this case, the devices cannot connect.

@ajcorrea As I can confirm, once updated, the firmware will adaptively match the country code of your device, and there is no need to manually change the region or country.

Could you please confirm which channel you want to use and was that channel selectable on previous firmware? You can try to choose one with less congestion with others to observe if your device can connect stably.

Please provide the device sticker on the AX90 and you can mask the MAC & SN on it.

  @Kevin_Z

I would like to use the AX90 as a satelite easymesh setup with ethernet backhaul.  I have BE550 as main router for easy mesh.

Does this beta firmware allow me to do above and do I need to use AP mode?

I would like confirmation since I won't be able to rollback this beta firmware before applying

Thanks

bit the bullet and upgraded firmware and set ax90 into satellite mesh mode. It's stable as far as I know. I setup on LAN port mode and confirmed everything working. Then redirected ethernet backhaul to the 2.5gb WAN port and that worked too. so setting up ax90 as satellite mesh router with ethernet backhaul works flawless.  I wish there were more info on the easymesh portal of main router to confirm uplink speed to the satellite router.  you lose the the portal access direct (cannot login to satellite router) via the IP address and the main router just shows connection type but not connection speed

@bengmau Yes. With this provided beta firmware, you can connect the AX90 as a satellite unit of the main BE550.

My AX90 is on satellite mode (BE550 is my primary router)   WIFI connection on the AX90 began to become unstable after.... 1.5 months.  Initiated a remote reboot via the BE550 portal advanced settings easymesh.

After reboot everything is fine.  Will monitor length of time for instablity and report back against the beta firmware

  @Kevin_Z

I installed the beta version to test the easy mesh, and it worked. The bad thing is that now every time 5 hours pass, my router overheats and restarts by itself, or the Wi-Fi restarts by itself or my internet completely goes out, and I don’t know what to do. I would like to go back to the old version I had which was much more stable :'( since I am suffering a lot with this update, does anyone know how to help me?

  @greedxD

I’ve also experienced instability with this firmware — the Wi-Fi randomly acts up, although it hasn't happened in a while. Considering it's been over 7 months without any updates, I believe this product and its software are in limbo — effectively end-of-life.

  @Kevin_Z I have been using the beta firmware for some time now, EasyMesh is very unstable. I am using Ax90 as a satellite/secondary. My Primary Router is XX530V GPON ONU and I also have a 2 range TPLINK Wifi 6 Range Extenders. AX90 disconnects frequently from XX530V and the other extenders remain connected to AX90. Sorry if you are offended this setup turned out to be whole home mess. I wanted to go back to stable Firmware and I got an Upload error. Left with no options, I am now running AX90 in AP Mode using a long cable. Could you please suggest which firmware can we downgrade/Upgrade to? Or is there any information/ETA on the stable release. Please let me know if you need any logs or details. I would be glad to provide those.
