Tapo smart camera

Am having some problems with my C230 and C120 cameras. Each time I set the motion detection trigger to sound and light, types of detection, and type of siren, and volume. But each time it reverts to the default settings for no reason.
Can some one please advise how to save my new settings?
The camera also goes offline easily, and quite difficult to recover/reboot.

Typically, the camera won't change its settings automatically. In your situation, it's suggested to check the following settings on your Tapo app.
1. Please go to the Tapo app > Cameras tab > Home/Away mode page to check if your camera is listed. If so, when you tap the Home/Away mode tab, the preset settings configured on the Home/Away mode will apply to your camera. You can remove your camera from the Home/Away mode for a try.

2. Please go to the Tapo app > Smart tab to check if there are Shortcut or Automation entries that may adjust your camera's Alarm settings. If so, you can disable the related entries for a try.
