Hello everyone,

I’ve been using the above router (Archer MR600 v3.0) with a data-only SIM plan from provider X (unlimited data) as my primary internet connection. For the past 5–6 months, everything has worked flawlessly. However, recently I started facing a strange issue.

Some of my devices suddenly lost internet access, even though they remain connected to the Wi-Fi network. For example, both of my laptops connect to the network and access the internet just fine. However, my two Android phones and my Android TV no longer have internet access, despite being connected to the Wi-Fi.

To troubleshoot, I tried using a different SIM card from another provider—and surprisingly, all devices (including the phones and TV) connected to the internet without any issue.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

  • Rebooting the router

  • Factory reset

  • Made sure all firmware and software updates are installed

  • Contacted provider X to ask if they have applied any kind of limitation or restriction—they confirmed they do not have the ability to restrict specific devices

Yet the issue persists only when using the SIM card from provider X. Has anyone encountered a similar situation or know what might be causing this? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Hi, it is suggested to test whether the beta firmware here helps:

464XLAT Support on TP-Link 4G/5G routers for Jio/EE/Optus/Vodafone and other SIM carriers

Best regards.

Create a new profile with IPv4 only and test the connection
