Hi,

Just a comment on your network.

If a local (private) network is not just an isolated network, but is also connected to the Internet, then you should not use public IP addresses inside your local network.

There are a few ranges of private IP addresses that are specifically dedicated for use in local networks (for example 10.0.0.0 - 10.255.255.255). These private IP addresses are free for anyone to use. Also, private IP addresses are not routed to the public Internet and therefore can be used by millions of users simultaneously without causing conflicts.

The IP addresses used in your local network are public IP addresses that fall into a range of IP addresses that is owned by AT&T in the US.
https://whois.domaintools<dot>com/12.0.2.100     (please replace <dot> with . )

The thing is, while your setup with the 12.x.x.x public IP addresses appears to work fine on a router made by ASUS, it can't be ruled out that doing the same on other routers might lead to issues.

  @woozle

Thanks so much!
I change all 12.x.x.x to 10.x.x.x, then all works.

I make big mistake with setting 12.x.x.x for private IP addresses.
I thought it was just a private network where I could set my preferred IP.

  @woozle

After several days of testing,

it appears the WireGuard VPN on BE550 only functions correctly for a short period immediately after setup.

The issue of being unable to ping external networks recurs every time the BE550 restarts.

Based on my reserch, TP-Link Archer routers don't support for split tunneling?

Hello @Gimmy1206,

Yes, Wiregard VPN client currently doesn't support traffic splitting. If you need it, you might consider using OpenVPN.
