@David-TP I have 3 BE65 units running the latest firmware in the UK. Backhaul mode is set to Maximum Capacity, which should disable the 2.4GHz backhaul. But all the units are broadcasting a hidden 2.4 GHz signal. Why?

If this is part of the stability fix then surely the app should not give the impression that 2.4GHz backhaul is optional when that's no longer the case. My 6GHz signal strength is perfectly adequate between router and satellite.

It's easy to spot my signals because I have the only WiFi 7 network within visible range and they are all WiFi 7 broadcasts.

When should we expect this for BE65(1.0) 1.1.1 Build 20250616 Rel. 12316 ?

This has been released for over 1 month now.

Hi, thank you very much for the feedback.

"Backhaul mode is set to Maximum Capacity"

-Do you refer to the "Wireless Network Mode"?

In the Mesh network, do you have other Deco models apart from Deco BE65?

Wait for your reply.

Best regards.

Hi. Yes, that's the mode I am talking about. Observe in note 1 that the mode is referred to as "backhaul mode", which in my opinion is much more accurately descriptive of the function than the name of the menu item itself and registers with me far more easily.

Anyway, I have no other mesh nodes from TP-Link or anyone else. Nor have I ever.

Occasionally one or both satellites might be powered down. I don't know whether that would cause 2.4 GHz backhaul to kick in, searching desperately for the "missing" satellite(s), but from the description of the function I would not expect it to. Off means off, right?
