Yesterday
Model: Tapo C200
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.4.3

After an auto update to firmware 1.4.3, my C200 cannot connect to wpa2/wpa3 network anymore. So I bought a C220 which was still on firmware1.2.1 and the connection to wpa2/wpa3 network was not a problem.

Then I setup a seond router, set the wifi to wpa2 only and the C200 could connectimmedeately, even with 1.4.3

THIS IS NOT A SOLUION FOR ME! Some of my devices nd wpa3

Please fis as soon as possible or just put firmware 1.4.2 or 1.2.1 back. Therewas nothing wrong with it

Hi,
I see you have the same post on this thread. Please refer to the explanation below.

"The Tapo C200 and Tapo C220 are different models, and they use different firmware versions. The Tapo C220 is now functioning properly, and you can update it to the latest firmware if you wish. Usually, it will continue to work with your home Wi-Fi.

For the Tapo C200 V3, temporarily, you can continue using the second router to provide an internet connection, or you may try enabling a guest network on your home router and then set the WPA2-PSK security type for the Tapo C200 to connect.
Our support team is analyzing the behavior on the Tapo C200 and will release an official firmware to fix it as soon as possible. Please pay attention to the Tapo C200 V3's Firmware Release Notes page on our official website for updates."

Best Regards
