  @David-TP I am trying the latest firmware and it seems to work with my smart TVs. For the wireless access mode, are high capacity and optimal performance the right way round? High performance seemed to be the default but there was still a 2.4GHz backhaul so I switched to optimal performance and there was no 2.4GHz backhaul.

Or maybe it is just the slow response of the Deco app to a change in settings!

  @Divad

Hi, nice to see you again.

If Deco units are connected via Ethernet Backhaul or connected via WiFi Backhaul, but there are many smart home devices,  disabling 2.4GHz backhaul in "High Capacity" mode is recommended.

Best regards.

  @David-TP Just successfully upgraded 3x XE75 Pro from rel 8514 to this beta firmware.  FYI The main router and the one hard wired to it both successfully upgraded on the first attempt, the one that is completely wireless needed the upgrade process running twice.  I used the web interface to perform the update.

  @David-TP

Going on 3 weeks since .999 Beta release. What is typical timeline until RC? Or does it go directly to GA? I need the ECO mode. Wondering if I should continue to wait because it's right around the corner or if I should take the chance to upgrade to Beta.

  @jmvp Wondering this myself... I want to update but might be easier for the family if I waited for the official release... I wish I was joking, but I was villainized for using betas on my other routers by the kids lol. 😖

  @WYLDSTALLYNS  Believe me friend, I have also thought about it a lot and in the end I had to install it in the early morning to avoid problems. 😅

  @David-TP Will OFDMA/MU-MIMO toggles ever come to the XE75? I have used other Decos which had this as a toggle, wth my XE75 there are only options for beamforming and fast roaming but they're the same options on basic models and it doesn't feel like OFDMA or Mu-Mimo or working correctly as a reuslt.

THanks

  @EyeloMilo

Hi, thank you very much for your time and patience.

As far as I know, there isn't an OFDMA/MU-MIMO on/off toggle on the 1.4.999 beta. I haven't heard any further news about whether it would be added either.

Would there be any specific reasons that you want to turn them off? It would be very helpful if you shared more details here.

Best regards.
