Tc41 suddenly can't find sd card

My Tc41 was working OK for a couple of weeks after install, but suddenly the camera is not longer able to recognise the sd card.

I've checked the sd cards compatibility which seems fine, and if I turn off/on or take out the card and reinsert it recognises it briefly before going back to saying there is no sd card.

Can anyone help or advise solutions?

What should I do if the SD card cannot be formatted/recognized?
